The Journal of JAEE

The objective of the Journal of JAEE is to provide the latest information in a wide range of fields such as science, engineering, sociology and humane studies that contribute to the development of earthquake engineering and earthquake disaster reduction, to the members of JAEE and to the international audience. As a general rule, it is published four times a year. We are inviting Members/Non-Members to submit technical papers/technical reports/technical notes/discussions for the Journal, and the manuscripts may be either in Japanese or in English.

In addition to this, special editions of the Journal are published as needed to provide timely information related to earthquake engineering such as technical issues that cut across various fields, leading-edge technical issues, etc. The special editions are comprised of technical papers, technical reports, technical notes and overviews/submissions related to specific themes, collected through open invitations to submit them at organized sessions (OS) of the Annual Meetings, symposia, or through our members. For more details, please see the guideline on invitation to the public to submit manuscripts for the special editions.
