At around 6:00 p.m. on June 24, 2026 (local time; approximately 7:00 a.m. on June 25, 2026, Japan Standard Time), two earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 (both according to the USGS) occurred in sequence in Venezuela. The Japan Association for Earthquake Engineering (JAEE) is gathering information regarding this seismic disaster and will post it on this website.
