Event guideThe Japan Earthquake Engineering Symposium (JEES), which was first held in 1962, has been held approximately every four years, during the interim years of the World Conference on Earthquake Engineering, (WCEE). The forthcoming 14th Japan Earthquake Engineering Symposium (14JEES) is to be held in 2014, the number of hosting organizations of which has grown, as a reflection of the expansion of the field of earthquake engineering.
Not only general theme sessions, organized sessions relate with   the giant earthquakes such as the Tohoku-Oki earthquake and the supposed Nankai-Trough earthquake, and international sessions will be held.
