Call for papers
Lecture papers relating to earthquake engineering are being solicited for The 13th Japan Earthquake Engineering Symposium. At this symposium, only the abstracts will reviewed, the lecture papers themselves not be subject to review. Consequently, we will not only be accepting the fruits of completed research, but a wide variety of papers, including papers on research that is currently underway or on distinctive investigations, experiments and case studies. We are also enlisting proposals for organized sessions on themes, guest lectures and general talks and the like to be planned beforehand, and thus ask you to study this option.

Application
Application for papers.
Those applying for papers are to submit abstracts, the adoption or rejection of which will be notified following their review. Thereafter, you are to submit the lecture papers, adding the contribution fee (general JPY20,000 and JPY16,000 for students; includes the participation fee). Your lecture papers will not be subject to review.
• Abstract submission period: March 1 to May 7, 2010
• Adoption or rejection notification period: June 21 to June 30, 2010
• Lecture papers submission period: July 1 to September 8, 2010
