Basic Policy 1: 17WCEE will comprise both an in-person conference and a virtual (on-line) conference taking advantage of both merits for larger participation even under the COVID-19 situation.
Basic Policy 2: The presentation style will be provided as mentioned in the Program / Speakers Page. Even the in-person conference will be held at the venue for 6 days from Sept. 27 to Oct. 2, 2021, the on-line conference period will be extended to one week before and one month after the conference, from Sept. 20 to Nov. 2, 2021, as an "Extended conference period (ECP)". To aim that participants are able to access the conference nevertheless the time lag, the presentation materials submitted in advance will be opened for registered participants and the on-line bulletin board (OLBB) discussion will be available anytime during the ECP. Also, for those who were not able to join the discussion in real time, the discussion at Oral and Organized Sessions will be recorded and available after the conference.

Extended conference period (ECP): from Sept. 20 to Nov. 2, 2021
On-line Bulletin Board (OLBB): Available during the "Extended conference period" to registered participants for Q&A and further discussions of sessions. Please actively participate in the discussions using this bulletin board.
