  1. Regular participants include presenting authors and session chairs.
    After the acceptance notice of abstract, presenting authors are recommended to make the early-bird registration with fee(s) paid by credit card. Registration with payment will be required for each presenting paper at the time of full paper submission. Without registration and payment, your paper will be deemed as a withdrawal and thus will not appear in the conference program or in the electronics proceedings.
  2. Additional paper submission is limited to one for each presenter.
  3. Full-time Students are required to send a copy of Student ID to the following registration desk via on-line registration page.
  4. Accompanying persons are family members of a registrant.
  5. The gala dinner and technical tours are on a first-come first-served basis until the number of participants reaches the fixed number.
  6. Receipt of the registration fee will be printed with the name card on site.

Cancellation Policy

Requests to cancel registration must be sent to the 17WCEE Registration Desk by e-mail. With requests that comply with the following cancellation policy, refunds will be made within two months after the conference. No-shows are not applicable for refunds.

For those who already have registration before September 22, 2020 (JST)

Disclaimer Notice

  1. The 17WCEE secretariat reserves the right to cancel or postpone 17WCEE or to change the schedule or the venue without prior notice, due to the act of God or on the occurrence of any event of force majeure.
  2. In the case of any such contingency happening before the opening day, the 17WCEE secretariat shall refund any registration fees it will have received before the contingency, less related costs. In the case where the 17WCEE secretariat should be preparing delivery of Paper Viewing Applications and electronics proceedings to each applicant who has already paid a registration fee before the contingency, the fee less costs of proceedings production, packing and shipping shall be refunded.
  3. Any air fares, accommodation fees, and other expenses paid by a registered participant shall not be compensated by the 17WCEE secretariat but shall be subject to an agreement between the registered participant and businesses in charge.
  4. In such a contingency stated above in (1.)
    - If it happens during the meeting: the 17WCEE secretariat shall not refund any registration fees.
    - If it happens before the opening causing the 17WCEE secretariat to be unable to hold 17WCEE even in fully virtual conference, it shall refund registration fee in principle excluding costs of proceedings production and other related costs.
    However, when further postponement, change in 17WCEE duration and/or change of the venue cause applicants to be unable to participate in the conference even in fully virtual conference, the 17WCEE secretariat shall refund any registration fee only to such an applicant who desires a refund.
  5. No damages or compensation, except the refunding of registration fees as stated above in (2), shall be recovered from the 17WCEE secretariat.
